(Duluth, MN, May 26) – womenwinning, Minnesota’s largest resource for women in politics, is proud to announce its endorsement of Elissa Hansen for Duluth City Council At-Large.

“We are thrilled to endorse Elissa for Duluth City Council At-Large,” said Lauren Beecham, Executive Director of womenwinning. Elissa has built an impressive career advocating for women and will continue to bring awareness to homelessness, domestic abuse, and sex trafficking in her community. Her work and investment in Duluth along with her strong relationships will make her an effective city councilor.”

As a Duluth City Councilor, Elissa plans to work toward growing responsible economic development, investing in accessibility by balancing infrastructure projects, and supporting our social resources by strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. Hansen is running because she believes Duluth is a place where our community, its businesses, and policies can grow together with progressive roots.
